Migrated app from Ionic to Next.js, improving page load performance by 40% with SSR and increasing SEO from 0 to 96 (Lighthouse).
Redesigned backend services from JavaScript to Python (FastAPI) with WebSocket-based streaming for real-time STT/TTS. Achieved P95 latency of 450ms (down from 1s) and improved translation accuracy by 18% via Google Vertex AI integration.
Optimized container builds with multi-stage Docker, reducing frontend image size from 1.2GB to 400MB and backend from 743MB to 537MB. Automated GCP Artifact Registry publishing and Cloud Run deployments.
